Unmatched Coverage over Multiple Networks
Mobile users demand easy connectivity whenever and wherever they are. That's why JCI offers the widest mobile coverage in Japan across multiple network types. In August, 2008, JCI became the world's first interconnected 3G Data MVNO through interconnection to NTT docomo's nationwide FOMA 3G mobile data network. JCI is unique as an MVNO as we can select our own mobile devices and connect them to our network without pre-approval from the mobile carrier. We use this to provide our customers with the most cutting-edge, advanced mobile technology available in the world.
We also provide service over the nationwide WILLCOM PHS network, and over Japan's most comprehensive network of public wireless LAN spots through our partnerships with Japan's major WiFi carriers. But our coverage does not end at the border. In the US, JCI offers wireless data services over US Cellular's CDMA mobile wireless network, targeting machine-to-machine applications such as wireless back-up lines of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at banks. JCI is not just the world's first interconnected 3G Data MVNO, but also the world's most experienced Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE). We apply our rich experiences of being the pioneer MVNO to our MVNE services. We actively engage with our business partners to enhance their core products and services with mobile wireless capabilities. Our partners can define their own wireless data pricing and integrate mobile wireless features into their unique offerings. Total End-to-End Customized Solutions
For Enterprise customers, JCI offers InfinityCare3G ("ICare3G"). This is a one-stop service combining our core five areas of expertise: (1) wireless handhelds and modules, (2) wireless mobile network connectivity, (3) device and user authentication, (4) secure end-to-end connectivity from the device through to the Corporate Intranet, and (5) Network Management and Customer Care centers operating 24/7 with full time staffs in both Japan and the US.
