Frank Seiji Sanda D.Eng.

Before founding Japan Communications Inc. in 1996, Frank Sanda served as CEO of Apple Computer Japan and Vice President and General Manager at Motorola Inc. Sanda has extensive experience in finance, having filled senior officer positions at Citibank and Merrill Lynch in the United States. He also spent 12 years working in the railroad industry in both Canada and the United States. An engineer by trade, Dr. Sanda holds a Ph.D., and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Naohisa Fukuda
President and Chief Operating Officer

A member of the Board of Directors since 2004, Naohisa Fukuda joined JCI as a Senior Vice President of Marketing in 2002.
Most recently Mr. Fukuda served as VP of Marketing at Apple Computer Inc. in California. He has also held various management positions at Apple Computer Japan, including Director of Business Operations and Director of Marketing. Mr. Fukuda has entrepreneurial experience, having started his own company while a student at the University of Tokyo. He holds an MBA from Dartmouth College.

Jun Tajima

A member of the Board of Directors since 2008, Jun Tajima joined JCI on April 1, 2006, and was appointed to the Management Board. Jun Tajima has more than twenty-five years of experience in a wide range of business lines in senior positions with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT), Japan’s largest telecommunication operator in Japan, and NTT DoCoMo, Japan’s largest cellular operator. His focus included mobile handset and network equipment R&D, and international standardization of second and third generation cellular systems. He was also engaged in international business for more than ten years, including investments in mobile carriers and associated businesses. Most recently, he was the Managing Director of Global Network Development at NTT DoCoMo. He has a Ph.D. and Masters and Bachelor degrees in engineering from Keio University.

Hiroaki Yokoyama

Hiroaki Yokoyama started his career in the personal computer business, NEC Corporation in early 1980s. He then served as Director of Consumer Business at Apple Japan. Following this, as CEO, Yokoyama headed Intellution Japan & Korea, a global leader of industrial automation software. In 2001, Yokoyama established his own company, Mobile Computing Technologies, and served as CEO. Before joining JCI in March 2010, Yokoyama successfully expanded the business and managed M&A with Omron Group. As Vice President of Engineering at JCI, Yokoyama plays a critical role being responsible for all software and hardware development. Yokoyama graduated from Shizuoka University, and received his MBA (Master of Science in Management) from the Sloan School at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kenichi Goto

At the dawn of the cellular phone industry, Kenichi Goto had served as the Director of Engineering Department of Cellular Subscriber Division at Nippon Motorola Inc., the corporation invented the cellular phone as a global leading company of the wireless communications. Goto has built the close relationship of mutual trust with the mobile network operators through technological assistance and proposals. Joined JCI in 2000, Goto has been responsible as a leader of product marketing, having been in charge of planning and development of the numerous JCI products both for corporative organizations and private customers.

Hiroshi Morishima

Hiroshi Morishima joined the firm in Jan 2008 as Manager of Business Development. Morishima’s career has been focused on sales and business promotion starting at Epson Sales Japan Corp., followed by agency sales and the rebuilding of channel business at Apple Computers, then on to wholesale at Vodafone (current SoftBank) before joining JCI. As Manager of Business Development, Morishima has widely covered Corporate Sales to Customer Support and in Nov 2012 was appointed Executive Vice President of Marubeni Wireless Communications (joint venture established between JCI and Marubeni Corporation). After returning from Marubeni Wireless Communications, Morishima was appointed as Vice President of Human Resource Development. In Aug 2015, he was appointed to lead the MSP business development and in Sept 2016, he was tasked to cultivate and assist MVNO partners.

Greg Deickman

Greg Deickman joined Computer and Communication Technologies Inc (CCT), a U.S. subsidiary of JCI, in Jan 2005 as Senior Network Engineer. Deickman since joining the firm has been responsible for the development of our technological platform which encompasses the layout, building and running of JCI’s network across Japan, U.S. and Europe while incorporating new technology. On April 2015, Deickman was appointed as President and COO of CCT. As a management member of our group he is contributing to the development of the business. Deickman is highly knowledgeable in maneuvering our network and systems.

Mitsuru Kodaira

Mitsuru Kodaira joined JCI in 2015 as Controller. Before joining JCI, Kodaira worked at different foreign firms covering Japan and Asia as Controller and has been involved in the management of these firms. After joining JCI, Kodaira has been a central figure in managing the firms finance and accounting issues. In Nov 2017 he was appointed as deputy CFO and contributed to the efforts to generate monthly profits and participated in the preparation of coming up with financing schemes.
