Japan Communications Inc. (JCI, TSE Prime: 9424) is pleased to announce the launch of the eSIM version of its b-mobile S 190PadSIM X (hereafter referred to as "190PadSIM"), specifically designed for use with cellular iPads and Android tablets, among others. This new product will be available starting from May 15th.
Since introducing Japan’s first SIM product in 2010, JCI has been at the forefront of technological innovation. Our eSIM services, launched on April 6, 2022, have been well-received by many customers using iPhones, iPads, and Android smartphones.
The new model iPad, which will be launched on May 15th, will support only eSIMs, indicating a rapid adoption of eSIM technology.
In addition to traditional SIM cards, we are now offering an eSIM version for the "190PadSIM". This new eSIM is compatible with the DOCOMO network.
The “190PadSIM” plan includes 1GB of data per month for a basic monthly fee of ¥190 (excluding tax, ¥209 including tax). With our "Usage Cap Feature", customers can set a maximum data usage limit according to their budget and usage needs. Customers will be charged ¥190 (excluding tax, ¥209 including tax) per GB within the set limit.
