Japan Communications Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "JCI") is pleased to announce that its consolidated subsidiary my FinTech Co., Ltd. (Representative Director, Chairman and President: Naohisa Fukuda; hereinafter referred to as “my FinTech”) relocated to a new office on March 2, 2026, in preparation for the launch of commercial services for financial institutions scheduled for April 2026.
my FinTech was established in 2018 as the operating company for FPoS, JCI’s patented technology platform. In 2021, my FinTech obtained certification for FPoS under Japan’s Digital Signature Act. To date, it remains the first and only certification of its kind to be implemented on smartphones. Certification under the Digital Signature Act is granted to authentication services whose issuance, facilities, operations, and audit systems meet the statutory standards. my FinTech renews this certification annually and continues to operate in full compliance with the regulatory framework.
Currently, FPoS is utilized in payment services provided by local governments and private operators, including “Mebuku Pay” operated by Mebuku Ground Inc. in Maebashi, “Yudepi” operated by Juhachi-Shinwa Bank, Ltd. in Omura, and “Shiharai-Hisho” operated by WELLNET CORPORATION. Beginning in April 2026, FPoS is also scheduled to be adopted for identity verification services within financial institutions.
Services for financial institutions require stringent security standards and rigorous vendor audits. The adoption of FPoS for identity verification services in this sector signifies that my FinTech has entered a new stage of growth and trust.
What began as a challenge undertaken by a small team is now expanding into diverse areas of society. Building upon the technology and experience cultivated to date, my FinTech will continue to create new value from its new base of operations and contribute to the realization of a secure and trusted digital society.
