Japan Communications Inc. (JCI, TSE Prime: 9424) is pleased to announce the launch of the upgraded 'Reasonable 50GB Plan (2,178 yen per month)', which increases the monthly data allowance from 30GB to 50GB while keeping the monthly base fee unchanged, and the 'Reasonable Minna-no Plan (1,390 yen per month)', which increases the monthly data allowance from 10GB to 20GB, also with no change to the monthly base fee. These new products will be available starting from September 30th (Monday).
In the post-COVID era, as people's activities have intensified, the use of telework continues. This has led to an increase in mobile communication usage, even while on the move and during telework, resulting in higher data consumption by our customers. This plan upgrade (increased data allowance) is part of our commitment to promptly meet customer needs.
This upgrade will automatically apply to all customers, whether they are signing up for the first time today (billing cycle from September 18 to October 17) or are existing subscribers of the "Reasonable 30GB Plan" and the "Reasonable Minna-no Plan". There is no need to hesitate; you can apply right now. The "Reasonable 30GB Plan" will be renamed to the "Reasonable 50GB Plan" on the same day.
