In the announcement made by Mebuku Ground Inc. yesterday, October 7, 2024, "Starting Smart City Promotion Project with Kadoma City" (announced by related companies other than Mebuku Ground Inc. *1), it was announced that Mebuku Ground Inc. will build an ID and portal site for Kadoma City. The "ID for Kadoma City" mentioned here will be developed using the FPoS library described in "Japan Communications, Uses the FPoS library to issue certified electronic certificates to a wide variety of apps-Approval for changes to the Digital Signature Act obtained-" announced by our company yesterday.
The FPoS library ensures identity verification, which is one of the strengths of FPoS. For example, when authenticating a person when logging into the system, it can be authenticated that the person is definitely the person in question. In addition, by linking data belonging to individuals across businesses only based on the individual's will, each individual can enjoy services optimized for themselves. This authentication platform with a new paradigm makes it possible to provide these strengths as a company (region) ID.
The Kadoma City ID is the first public announcement of the use of the FPoS library. By cooperating with Mebuku Ground Inc., we will provide behind-the-scenes support for this initiative.
